Hi,
I passed P6(UK) on my 1st attempt in June 2010.
The Key to success in this paper is to master all the rates and to work as many questions as possible. If you are stuck in some question, do not hesitate to look at the answers as it will help you develop the skills needed to answer the P6 questions in the exam.September 15, 2010 at 12:57 pm #67245@san. dt a very priceless information. i appreciate dt

hi everyone, i need your help?
i am Malaysian but i currently working at Singapore, but i planed to back Malaysia after 5 to 10 yrs. So, which version(singapore, M’sia. international) shd i take?^^thank u
April 4, 2011 at 2:23 am #67256Firstly, there is no international tax paper. Now the paper you choose to do will be to your preference.
The key things to ask yourself are
1. Which paper will be easier to study? You are currently in Singapore and may be more exposed to the singapore taxation system than to malayasia t the present moment.
2. What do you intend to do after this? If you do not intend to be a tax specialist, it may not matter. Even if you choose to be a tax specialist, you must bear in mind that tax rules change ans so even if you study one variant, you will have to keep yourself up to date. Should you switch to a new country, you still have to learn the tax rules, so again the vairant shouldn’t really matter.
3. Am you certain that I will return to malaysia? You may find that job prospects keep you in singapore and you never return to reside in malaysia. You may return to malaysia sooner. I don’t know where you are within your 5 – 10 year cycle, but again, does the variant matter? Will you be penalised in Malaysia for not having done the Malaysian version? Will you be penalised in Sinapore for not doing the singaporean version? Either way, the key is to complete ACCA and I would say choose the one for which you can get the better tutorial support. - AuthorPosts
