i am currently 50 years old and i have AAT qualifications. I have always worked as a book keeper / senior book keeper for SME. I am thinking of studying ACCA, and wondering whether it is worth to study at this age? What are careers prospects at this age? Can i possibly start my own book keeping/accountancy business/practice.
Would appreciate feedback from someone who might had or have been in similar situations as i am now.
Thank youJuly 8, 2020 at 8:49 am #576306Unfortunately we’re not career advisers but you may find lots of useful resources on ACCA website https://jobs.accaglobal.com/ There are lots of articles in the careers advice section https://jobs.accaglobal.com/careers/ And in the find a job section you can see what sort of jobs are available, where and for how much https://jobs.accaglobal.com/jobs/

Go for it , you will only lose an hour or two a day to study. Best of luck!

? Mahatma GandhiForget about age. Think of knowledge, what you get by doing ACCA. It will empower you, enrich your life.
If there is an opportunity to do it, then why there is a doubt or worry!
