P4 (AFM) is my final paper for qualification and I will be attempting it in September. I have not started my studies yet.
I have studied all the previous papers using only OpenTuition and BPP revision kits.
I have seen some posts suggesting that a study kit is essential for P4. I have not studied for F9 as it was exempt for me.
Please advise if I should get a study text for P4.Many thanks!
July 16, 2018 at 4:09 pm #463228The more reading the better, but if you are watching our free lectures then a Study Text is not essential. What is essential is that in addition to watching our free lectures you have a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers and that you read the technical articles on the ACCA website.
With regard to being exempt from F9, then although the relevant topics are revised in the AFM lectures, they are revised pretty quickly. If you do come across something from F9 (now FM) that you are unsure about, then watch the relevant FM lectures.
And do ask in this forum if you have any problems 🙂
