Hello,
I’m preparing for PM exam and would like to know for preparation whether I should be using Kaplan study text or Study hub notes ? Last time, while preparing for CBL GLO, I noticed studyhub didn’t cover many topics covered in the Kaplan book.
Some questions in the kaplan exam kit were asked from the topics not covered in the Study Hub notes.
I have PM Kaplan kits which are for the syllabus year 2023-2024. To save money, I would prefer not buying new books until I get to professional papers. But, If they are absolutely necessary I would purchase, if you recommend.
I’m looking forward to you advice.
On a side note, how is Mr. John Moffat? His lectures and help have helped me a great deal in past to clear my exams.
Well I would say use both Kaplan and the study hub, if you can.
As the more practice you can get.. the better it will be for you.Kaplan’s kit will be fine….just be aware of any updates on the syllabus since 2023. This is to do with technology ethics and sustainability considerations. For example a new learning outcome covering ethical and sustainable factors in budgeting was added. Therefore only small changes.
The study hub should still be used for example:- end of chapter questions/quizzes and practice questions at the very least from the practice section.

Reading notes from the study text of both kaplan and study hub is time consuming and causes information overload. Out of the two, If I use kaplan’s study text notes, open tuition notes (and study hub for topics not included not available in kaplan text due to syllabus change), kaplan exam kit and study hub practice questions, can I pass the exam?
It is very difficult for me to say.
Depends how much work you put in.
Knowledge is very important. Practice is critical!If you use kaplan’s study text notes, open tuition notes and the study hub you should be well prepared.
As long as you practice what you have learned with questions.
