Kindly give me an idea of the amount of time it will take to complete study of an ACCA subject such as F7. I am planning to do the exams in DEC 2015.
Michael
Michael, that’s an impossible question to answer. There are far too many variables such as your own powers of concentration, your ability to absorb new topics, the other demands on your time such as family, friends, work and sport.
I have known students that have passed F7 with less than 2 weeks’ effort and I have known others that have struggled with it for 2 and 3 resits.
I do find that a lot of F7 is logical (particularly the subject of consolidations) and, if you can see that logic, then the topic becomes relatively straight forward. Are you a logical person? If yes, then pretty well the whole of F7 will be less of a struggle than if you can’t see the sense of required accounting treatments
