I have had great trouble getting into the Chat room for weeks! The last few times I tried it said there was no Moderator.

Am game for P5 and P7 leant a lot from the chat room study group back . Would want to reconnect with some of them doing the same papers

Is it a good idea that I study from the F1 notes provided only. And not listen to the lectures? Because I don’t think that the lectures are much of a help for me.

start one study group – i will promote it on the site.. and then slowly it will come back to life..

The chat is working for me now.
I’ve not been in a study group before so don’t know how it works. I’m studying F6 at the moment. The exams are not that far off now so we should get more people on here soon right?
I have been on OT chat quite often. I will be visiting it again when preparing for December exams so I can moderate some rooms / sessions if needed.
@Chloe – basic idea is, let’s say you are the moderator of the study group – you set the date/time for the F6 sessions – 1 or 2 a week – 1 hour or so sessions,
you announce in advance what chapter / topic will be discussed.
and you meet and talk about it in the chatroom – revise or solve the question together,, etc,here is quite good article

but I would suggest, you moderate the sessions only for your exam 😉
it would waste too much of your time if you decided to sit on many other sessions..@chloe am currently studying the f3 syllabus on my own i think we could work something out
