I am just starting my revision of this paper for Jun14 sitting. Could anyone who has studied and passed this subject offer me any tips on the best way to approach my studies.

Perhaps in hindsight you would have approached differently?

    Thanks

As you R going for revision, I think you already got the subject covered in the paper. Now just use previous 10 papers and solve them.
Don’t cheat yourself, first read requirements for example recent paper first question asks “Assess the four risks described by Gerry Jupp and propose a suitable risk management strategy for each.Briefly explain why subjective judgement may limit the accuracy of his risk assessments.”
so now when u read question see what r those four risks and apply risk matrix which U might have already studied by now, so simple right, if you can’t bring case in to your answer it is difficult to pass, you must apply case to the answer.
the same question also states”Explain the reasons why the implementation of sound internal controls has been difficult at HEC.” just by reading case you can bring some points into this answer.
It is very easy to pass, I had done it first time together with P3, without any study text, just reading examiners articles , solving past exam papers with opentution material.
