May 15, 2010 at 4:24 am #60226Hey, I’m doing F6 in England too. Which chapters do you find most difficult? Maybe we can help each other
May 17, 2010 at 6:36 pm #60227Hi!
Did you say in the other topic that you are using the BPP books too? I have only properly worked through to chapter 9 so far so Im a bit behind and really need to get as much studying in as possible in these last 3 weeks. I havent found any of the chapters too difficult so far, I deal with tax a lot at work so a lot of it makes sense. How about you? How far are you with the studying? Are there any areas that you find hard?
May 17, 2010 at 8:41 pm #60228Hannah, do watch F6 lectures, this will get you up to speed (I promise 🙂
May 18, 2010 at 8:24 am #60229I still have a lot of work to do. There are a few chapters I haven’t really looked at like business reliefs, share and securities, VAT and self assessments. But I should get that covered before the exams.
The first 9 chapters of F6 are the easiest in my opinion. But that’s probably because i lost focus and got lazy for the second half of the syllabus!
I agree with admin. The F6 videos will get you up to speed. It’s helped me understand a lot of stuff on the syllabus that I spent ages trying to work out!
My main difficulty is finding a balance between studying for 3 papers! I’m planning to do a revision kit per week in the last 3 weeks before exams, so I hope i stick to it!
May 18, 2010 at 9:49 am #60230I’m sitting F4, F5, F6 and F7 in June.
I’ve finished the whole syllabus for F6, into the revision phase now. Doing ok on Income Tax & Corp Tax, my chargeable gains needs some work though and I haven’t learned all the VAT rules

May 21, 2010 at 9:22 am #60232I’m sorry, I hope you understand but I’m far too busy to teach right now! If I’m on here and I see a question that I can answer I will be happy to help, but beyond that I just don’t have time as I’m always in the books 🙂
