Because I’m on the same page, for me strategic options is the process of setting and examining of possible strategic strategies.
3 steps approach:
1. Possible generic strategies – cost leadership, differentiation and focus
2. Examine possible strategic direction – market growth, market/ product development, diversification (for example Ansoff’s matrix)
3. Examine possible methods of growth – acquisition/ merger, organic
