Hi,
Can I use SWOT analysis to assess the suitability of the acqusition of ABC company? Also , am a lil confused, would I be doing it from the point of view of ABC company or its acquirer?

A SWOT analysis is used to help determine the strategic position of the company your are working for or doing it on behalf of as a consultant. Therefore a SWOT analysis is an internal analysis that could offer insight into whether or not the company is in a strong enough position to acquire ABC company.
