how to find out cash generated from operations with this information?
    tax and dividends paid $87566
    increase in payables $13899
    decrease in inventory $8900
    redemption of loans $300000
    increase in recievables $6555
reduction in cash and cash equivalants $3211
    depreciation charge $10600
payment to acquire non current assets $47999
proceeds from sale of non current assets $13100

In this question they are asking cash generated from profit the answer in kaplan exam kit is $419254 can you explain how to get this figure or show workings how to get cash generated from operations and what all things we will add and deduct to get net cash from operations

You know the cash generated from investing activities is minus 34899
You know that the cash generated from financing activities is minus 300,000.

Therefore the cash generated from operating activities is the missing figure to end up with a net cash flows of minus 3211.

Once you have the cash generated from operating activities, add back the tax and dividends paid and you will have the cash generated from operations.
