Just looking for a little bit of clarification here. What’s the difference in profit on sale of non-current assets and sale proceeds of non- current assets
thank yo
Profit on sale of non-current assets is the actual profit gained from the transaction (Carrying value – SP)
Proceeds on sale of non-current assets – The selling price (correct me if I’m wrong. I’m not really good with cash flows :P)
Ali is correct – the profit on sale is the difference between the sale proceeds and the carrying value.
The cash received is the sales proceeds.
(Ali, thanks for answering, but this forum is for the tutor to answer, and the tutor for F3 is me 🙂
The general F3 forum is for anyone to answer)
thank you very much John and thank you Ali. God’s Blessings
You are welcome 🙂
