Tomorrow I will be starting my first job and I wonder if it will go towards my ACCA 36 months work experience requirement.

The job title is Staff Auditor.

All depends on the specifications of the role…..I’m going to go out on a limb here and say more than likely but if you have to ask this question on the forum, then I am wondering what the role really entails.

For the 36 months experience requirement, does it matter where one works? Does the employer have to be approved or not?

I am in the same situation where I want to find out more on the experience required.
From what I have seen it is called PER and you have to fulfill certain objectives/criteria so it is not as simple as doing so many months. The work has to be documented and signed off by your manager that has to be a qualified Accountant.

There is a Webinar with BPP on 15th July all about this and I have been asking on this site if anyone is attending it (sign in on a computer). PM if you want more details.

I could type a whole lot, but let me guide you to the place with the answers.

    Good luck.
