Hello! Could you help me to solve the next :
In a period, 6,500 units were made. There was an adverse labour efficiency variance of $26,000. Workers were paid at $8 per hour which was equal to the standard labour rate. Total wages were $182,000.
Calculate the standard labour hours per unit.

here we go… the answer is here…. i got it……
18200 – 8x =26000 x = 19500 19500/6500 = 3hrs/unit….. fast this way……. more mathematical than accountin
24 employees x6 =144 x 38hr=
5472. Overtime =24×9=216 x 4hrs = 864
5472+864 = 6336/2500= 2.5344
=2.53 to d nearest dm
