hello tutor, i have been failing to get a recent revision kit for f7, the latest one i have is for exams in 2010, so to what extent is the revision kit useful for the december 2014 sitting

Fortunately for you, there’s not a lot changed except for the format of the exam. There. are now 40 marks worth of multiple choice questions, 2 x 15 marks a 1 x 30 marks. The big one will be either a consolidation question or an accounts preparation question ( an old style question 1 or 2)
The big one is clearly longer than old questions 1 or 2 but all the principles remain the same
As an addition to the syllabus you now need to know IAS 41 Agriculture
You can download a specimen exam from this site from the “ACCA, specimen F7 exam”
You also should download and work through the exams since 2010 from this site
