how shareholders can be internal stakeholders?
employee and management involved in running the business so they are internal stakeholders.
but shareholders only buy the shares and sit outside the organisation.yes,they might have access in organisation and influnces over few important decision.
but they not involved internally.
plz explain.
thanks in advance!Shareholders are the ultimate power in a company. At the company’s annual general meeting they can hire and fire directors and auditors.
Having said that, most texts seem to place them as connected, so it’s probably better to treat them as that for the exam. In fact, for practical purposes the classifications of internal/external/connected are pointless. The Mendelow matrix classifications are much more relevant.
