Hi guys,
How does one recommend to resolve conflicts of competing stakeholder claims? For example, competing stakeholder claims between a short term shareholder and a long term investor?
A balancing act by the directors!
I should think ITO best practice once one becomes a shareholder one’s shares rank pari pasu with other shares of the same class – they carry the same rights and obligations. The dirrectors have no way of telling how long one will hold on to a share so decisions are arrived at by majority vote lest the company be sued for illtreatment of minority shareholders
