could you please help me to understand when calculate profit at disposal, why FV of remaining interest of Doyle has been included, it’s added with proceeds, what is the reason behind it?
this senario is from Sub to assosiate, the reaminging intetest in subsidary is still part of parent company?

We are comparing what we have now with what we had before.
What we have now are the sale proceeds and the new associate
What we had before is the subsidiary.
