Forums › Ask ACCA Tutor Forums › Ask the Tutor ACCA SBL Exams › Specimen 1, Q3b) – do I need to name fundamental principles to gain a mark?
Hello,
I am wondering to what extent it is essential to explicitly name the ethical principle that was not obeyed (Specimen 1, Q3b) to gain a mark. E.g. if I write that the presentation of the survey results was biased, would it count as referring to the lack of objectivity and could get me a mark? To make my question more general – would a relevant point be enough or is it necessary to refer to the theory (model, principles, framework etc.) and explicitly name it to gain a mark?
Thank you for advice!
Ethics is a major component of this exam and the fundamental principles are the foundation of professional ethical behaviour, so you need to know what the principles are.
