Regarding to Specimen 1 (PSS Co) Task 1a :

    1. About opportunities: Would I be awarded mark if saying: “Trial periods are not included in this contract as with retail patterns. This is favorable to PSS as it could avoid the risk of retuned Badin mattress which would lead to reduce revenue.”

    2. About challenges: The answer said that:

“PSS manufacturing plans are currently working at 100% capacity “.

“The audit and risk committed has identified that the patent which relates to the manufacturing of Badin mattress have expired.”

How can I search this information from pre-seen information and which exhibit ?

    Thank you.

1 An opportunity is something you can do in the future which should be advantageous. If they currently do no offer test periods then that is not an opportunity. Perhaps changing to offer that facility could be an opportunity.

2 Exhibit 2 , Operations director: We can hardly cope with the production of the four mattresses we make at the moment. All four of our manufacturing plants are working at 100% capacity. We are finding it increasingly difficult to hire skilled workers in this competitive industry. Just last week, I had resignations from three staff members that are joining one of our competitors for more money and better prospects

Exhibit 4, 2(b) for the patents.

You have to read everything carefully!

I just read pre seen information and exhibit 1 to answer task 1a and have not yet read exhibit 2 to 4.

But in this case point could be made from all exhibits and not come from a single one.

I often read the requirement first, read the headline of each exhibit and after that make a reference of each exhibit to each task; then concentrate to read 1 exhibit to find relevant point to 1 task.

Please advise me effective way to use all relevant information in all exhibits to answer 1 task?

    Thank you.

There is not a reliable one-to-one mapping from tasks/requirments to exhibits. Often one exhibit will be particularly relevant to a specific task, so your referencing will be useful, but it is not foolproof. Important information can be included elsewhere so you must read all exhibits before beginning your answers.
