Sir,
Other than the interpretation part, do we need to go into detail with the practical area of things as not much importance for it has been provided by both your course notes and also Becker
please reply.
Section C4 of the syllabus:
“4. Specialised, not-for-profit and public sector entities
a) Explain how the interpretation of the financial statement of a specialised, not-for-profit or public sector organisations might differ from that of a profit making entity by reference to the different aims, objectives and reporting requirements.[1]”
And that’s the only mention of the subject in the syllabus
You’ll notice that intellectual level is rated as “[1]” and this is the lowest level in the grading 1 – 3
What’s in the notes and in Becker’s text should be ample for the unlikely event that a question gets asked in this area
