Good evening sir,
Apart from the notes you have provided, I use Kaplans text as well. In the chapter ‘Sources of finance’, there is more information in the book regarding SME, finance incentives provided by the government, hybrids, business angels, venture capitalists etc.
I’m thorough with the notes you have provided. From the exam point of view, will this be sufficient or should I be equipped with those extra information provided in the text as well?Thank you.
June 9, 2016 at 4:22 pm #321526The notes on their own certainly are not sufficient – they are to be used with the lectures.
In the lectures I explain and expand on the notes! (And I do mention business angels etc etc)If you are watching the lectures then you have enough to be able to pass the exam well.
If you do not watch the lectures then you should study the text book in detail.Whichever you do, most important of all is to practice exam standard questions and for that you must buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers.
June 9, 2016 at 4:41 pm #321544I have watched every lecture of yours sir. I must have not been pretty keen on concentrating during that lecture given that it was a theory chapter and you know how we accountants are. haha.
Anyway, I do possess kaplans revision kit. I’m doing sums from that side by side.
But altogether, thank you so much for the lectures and the assistance sir. Hopefully everything goes well tomorrow.
Thank you again sir.June 10, 2016 at 6:07 am #321819Thank you for the comment, and I do hope all does go well.
