Question 1: “population data are data arising as a result of investigating a group of people or objects” what do we mean by “objects” here?
Question 2: if we conduct a survey by sending a list of questions to our target customers, then the data collected from them (the responses that the target audience sent) are internal data or external data?
Question 3: how is cluster sampling used for predicting the results of election in a country?
1. ‘Objects’ are anything other than people. For example, we might want to find the average length of some screws that we produce. The object would then be screws.
2. Internal data because we collected the data ourselves.
3. Cluster sampling would not really be a very sensible method of trying to forecast election results. What they could try and do is visit a number of places where people are voting and ask a sample of people in each place how they voted.
thank you so much sir!!
You are welcome.
