in the lecture video, it says that capital means “owed to owner” shouldn’t it be a liability?
Capital is a liability, but because it is a liability to the owner it is called ‘capital’. We save the words ‘current liabilities’ and ‘non-current liabilities’ for amounts owed to other people.
