Dear Mr. John,
In order to calculate the Goodwill and Retained earning in the exam, will it be given the format or structure to input the value ?

In addition
While calculation of goodwill:
Total cost of Investment -Total Net asset = Good will
But what if it come negative , meaning Total cost of investment low & total net asset high?

It will not be negative in Paper FA (that is something you can worry about in later exams 🙂 )
