Hi sir, in my textbook regarding small commercial entities it states the following
Owner managers will have direct control. However, they are also in a strong position to manipulate the figures or put private transactions ‘through the books’ .
What does the phrase ‘through the books’ mean ?
Eg, putting personal expenses through the business and treating these as business expenses.
Got it sir. Thank you.
