Dear Sir,
just finished the revision phase of F7 and F5 and going to sit both this session. Last semester Ive studied with you opentuition.com and passed with honors. All 80+. This is my first time im going to sit paper based exam. Looking forward to get advice from you Sir.
About F7:
1.)Ive seen most of the lectures and realised that most of the content is very shortened. For example, Revenue in BPP course notes is discussed in 20 pages with lost of the details. You talking about this 3 minutes. From my experience, I trust opentuition more than my tuition provider, BPP, and seeking your advice on this matter.
2) there are main Section B areas: Cash flow stat, Ratios Interpret, Consolidations and single entities, right?
what about the small other chapters, how to tackle them, sir. By the way, im asking this just before starting practicing the question from P/R kit. Very Looking forward to your advice!!!
Thank you very much,
God bless you!
Rustam RahmatovNovember 9, 2015 at 6:57 pm #2813111 – get right up to date with IFRS 15 – it’s replaced the previous IAS 8 on revenue. There’s a chapter in the free course notes on IFRS 15 but no video / audio lecture as yet
2 – correct, just those three main areas. The small chapters are effectively covered by the mini exercises towards the end of the course notes. There are a couple of errors in my answers to those mini exercises and a couple of others where, as I’ve extracted data from the exam question, I’ve missed off some crucial piece of information so you can’t do the question. Otherwise, they’re great preparation for a ~”single entity” question
