    Dear tutor,

I have been failing P3 exam for my last 3 attempts. I am very well prepared concerning the material for the exam itself, but completing the paper on due time is a big challenge for me, especially regarding the slowness of my handwriting.

My handwriting gets very messy when i write faster. So i have to slow down so that the examiner can understand my handwriting. But in so doing i become too slow in the exam having a coverage rate of only around 60-65% per sitting. on my last attempt (Dec 2013 exam) my coverage was 65% and i got 46 (failed marginally).
I also wrote about 7-8 pages to answer Q1 and part Q4 (15 marker).

But my big big headache is how can i complete the whole paper (or almost). Any tips or advice on your part Sir since I am getting very frustrated about this and losing all my confidence.

Handwriting is a means to an end and cannot, in any circumstance, be the major reason for failure, not in a professional exam like the ACCA.

Does ACCA make any provision for slow writers like me and surely many many more out there.

Lastly Sir I really work very hard on my handwriting but believe me it is much more difficult task than passing the real exam itself.

Thank You Sir, waiting for your precious help and advice.

Practice full past paper of each attempt and set your time limit 3:15 hrs i.e(15 min for reading and planning and 3 hrs for writing) as just like you are doing paper in exam hall and in a exam pressure and it may improve your writing speed . . . .in my opinion there is no other best approach to deal with this problem
