This may sound silly but I have to make sure.
When applying for the Simpson scholarship, we have to provide 2 references. Do we just LIST 2 contact details of people who agreed to be my reference OR should I ask my 2 reference to write a sort of recommendation letter for me.

“Your application must be accompanied by a Scholarship submission form including two references.”My reading is that It asks for two references – i.e. the recommendations – it doesn’t asks for two referees (i.e. people that might give you a reference at a later date). http://changingminds.org/disciplines/job-finding/resume/reference.htm
