Hello !
The question Simply Soup asks for material price, yield and mix variance. What if I calculate a total variance and does not show individual (ingredients), will i be marked down in the exams ?
Thanks
For price variance you would be marked down – the examiner expected a variance for each material separately.
For mix and yield you would probably have been OK just showing them in total.
If you get mix and yield in the December exam then read the requirement very carefully – it will probably specify if they want each material shown separately.
