    IF FULL GOODWILL METHOD
NCI at year end = Fair Value of NCI at acquisition + NCI % (YE Net Assets – Acquisition Net Assets)

    IF PROPOTION GOODWILL METHOD
NCI at year end = (NCI % X Net Assets at acquisition) + NCI % x (YE Net Assets – Acquisition Net Assets)

    I hope that helps.

    Hi ke123,
If you work back using £9920 goodwill at bottom of question you find the value of NCI investment.
FV of Net Assets @DOA is £269333*28%=75413.
Nci share of pre acquisition dividends is 2333, so,
NCI value of investment is 75413+2333+9920=87667.
