Hi, I attempted F9, p1, P2 this time and failed P2 for the first ever time in ACCA, I am considering and want your opinion does or not i attempt P2, P3, P4, p7 for the next attempt ??
February 10, 2013 at 5:46 am #116932That’s cool and you should try but only if you are really sure that you’ll have time to prepare for all of them or at least it wouldn’t be studying a little bit in all papers. You should make sure that you prepare perfectly for at least 2 of them, so you don’t make it just a waste of time. I’m always trying 3 papers a time, but if you have only 4 left and you did p2 pretty good…
February 10, 2013 at 1:41 pm #117051Thanks v much, actually im really good with P2 also, i almost revised p2 bbp kit 5-6 times, so it is not much difficult as well also, i was just afraid with so much good preparation i was failed, !!! secondly there was no leave between P4,P7 papper and P2,P3, but thanks i am much confident now.
February 12, 2013 at 8:25 am #117471Hi there,
I too was tempted to give the last four papers in this attempt but later realised that it was an emotional as well as risky decision/thought not only for full-time students but for somebody who works.. if you are an above average student, plus you can afford to go out and take classes for all four of the papers ( afford in the sense of time) and then study for all four of the papers, putting equal efforts and hard work in all of the subjects, taking proper rest, only then you should go for four papers, else you’d be wasting your money, time and energy. You wouldn’t be able to justice, so why take risk or chance? You’re about to finish, don’t hurry and ruin it..take it easy.. atleast you would be sure you are going to pass…
plus, as you said you revised P2 kit 4,5 times, doing a kit again and again doesn’t matter until and unless you know each and every concept thoroughly, I’ve seen students who don’t finish the kit, yet they pass.. So sit, relax and think what could be the reason that inspite of you doing the kit for so many times, you didn’t get a pass?wish you all the very best,
God bless you, AameenFebruary 12, 2013 at 1:37 pm #117563thanks v much….

Im in a dilemma too.August 9, 2013 at 5:25 am #136837Hi i am Nouman woh started this conversation and asked for 4 paers, thanks to Allah this attempt i attempted p2347 and passed all, attempt 4 paper if you can give dedication to it.
August 9, 2013 at 9:17 am #136917Good day.
I’ve attempted this time P1, P3 and P4. P1, p3 – pass, p4 – fail, 45 marks. solved only 75 marks in total, it’s pretty tough in timing, so i just had no time enough((
each time i’m taking 3 papers and always passed all 3. so i can tell you, that p4 requires really good preparation and understanding of all possible techniques to be used, since the exam covers all the syllabus.
P3 is pretty easy, you just have to read it good and read previous exam answers to understand the structure.
So if you know p2 really good and if you study p4 really good, you can try, but you’ll have to start preparing in august-september.
Also note, that p7 pass rate is very low, so it’s not that easy as one can think (same as p4, actually – about 35%!).
And note, that p4 is next day after p7, same as p2 is next day after p3, so you’ll have no time between exams to prepare.
But if you are veru sure about p2 techniques and if you’re able to understand mathematics in p4, go for it, try your best and always go for the biggest deal)August 9, 2013 at 9:19 am #136919oops, didn’t note that you have already passed it))
congratulations, man, you’re great!August 16, 2013 at 8:51 pm #138341Which kit is preferable for p2?BBP or FTC?

But you took three exams (one of them from the lower level) and only passed two, and failed the more notable P2 exam out of the three that you took. Do you *really* think that you can take P2, P3, P4 & P7 at the same time and have any hope in hell of passing them? You can’t pass three at the same time so why is it even crossing your mind to take four? And not just that, the papers you’re thinking of are miles away from F9 & P1.
You’re setting yourself up for failing all four if you go ahead with your idea.

first – he passed all four, read the conversation carefully, he said it on August 9th.
second – i’v tried f4 and f5 at my first sitting and failed. i got something about 45 marks on each. so i’ve decided to sit f4, f5 and f7 at next sitting and passed them all. Why? coz i’ve been already almost prepared for two exams. why waste time? I’ve just spent about a month preparing for f7 and about a week revising f4 and f5.
You should always go for the maximum. - AuthorPosts
