Hi everone, i need some career advice.
I have finished my A levels last year and started ACCA this january. I have already clear level one ACCA and currently studying for the F5 exams. I really found management accounting to be interesting, although my current job is in the audit department as i needed it to pay tuition fees. I never knew about CIMA before and thought that ACCA was enough for me for m career goals. So, if i want to be a management accountant, will doing ACCA P5-Advance performance management be enough or should i start with CIMA or complete ACCA and take advantage of exemption. Please send help.July 22, 2018 at 5:37 pm #464243By the time you become ACCA qualified, you can have studied SBL, AFM (P4) and APM (P5). Those papers mean that you will have covered more or less what is in covered in CIMA. In addition you will have more auditing knowledge and financial reporting coverage than provided by CIMA.
I suggest that having started with ACCA you stick with it.

As of right now, i have not get an opportunity to work for any business advisory/consultancy department firm. I have been working in audit for only one month. Should an opportunity for a switch to happen, do i take it or do you think that working in the audit department to diverse my experience is a better option. I am still 20 years old. I was thinking of working in audit for a year and then make a switch in department after completing F5 and F9. Is that a good decision?
