Short time with no prior preparation

Hello everybody,
I am planning on giving the P2 in March 2018. I only have P1 experience for ACCA as F1-F9 were exempt due to my university qualification. And right now I am focusing solely on P3 due on December.
So I really need to know that my plan on start studying for P2 for March 2018 right after December 2017 P3 exam with only OT lectures & OT notes and revision kit is a good one or not? I do have an “idea” of consolidation from my university studies but quite a time has passed since then, or by my profile you suggest me grabbing a study text?
I need to the point study without getting into unnecessary details.

The study text contains way too much information compared with what you actually need to pass the exams
