Hi,
Please can you help me with the best way to value the percentage gain to the bidding and the target company’s shareholders? I can understand how to value the company using the various methods in the syllabus but cannot understand how to take it that one step further and work out the gain etc for both companies.
This applies to questions which involve acquisition in the form of share exchanges (i.e. 3:2).
Are there any formulas that I always learn and apply in the exam?
I asked this question earlier but not sure if it posted. Sorry if it’s a double post.
Thanks
No – there are no formulae to learn specific to this. It really all depends on the wording of the question, so it is best if you ask me about a specific past question that it giving you a problem and then I will explain 🙂
