Hello Tutor,I would like to ask what is the mean of minor repudiates?
The extract sentence from the bpp study text is ” A menber who is a minor repudiates their shares”(A member ceases to be a member in the circumstances)
Thank you so much.
A minor cannot enter into an arrangement where the minor is bound by contractual terms
Thus where a minor acquires shares – for example, a favourite Aunt has given or bequeathed shares to a person who is a minor – then at any time before attaining majority (typically on their 18th birthday) a minor may reject their ownership of those shares ie they may repudiate their ownership
OK?
