Hi sir for september/december 2015 exam question 5(b), regarding the deficiency that states
” overtime reports are sent out quarterly by the payroll department to production supervisors for their review.”
In the answer key, it is stated that “these reports are reviewed after the payments have been made… ”
But there is no evidence in the question saying such. Therefore, could you explain how this point was derived? I dont understand sir.
Also, regarding the deficiency that states that the
” Bonus is input by a clerk into the payroll system”.
Is the deficiency the fact that the bonus is input by a clerk who is not senior enough ? Or
Is it that this process is not reviewed ?
Q1 Staff won’t waitm3 months formtheir wages so payment must be made before review.
Q2 really, the deficiency is that there is no review/check. It is a normal function of clerks to input data (that is not a management function), but their inputs need monitoring in some way.
