Hi Mike
I took P2 tuition from FEB TO May 15 but didn’t took part in June exams. My question is september 15 exams will be it based on old syllabus or new syllabus???
I hv studied the previous syllabus where there was IAS 18 and its exposure draft now there is IFRS 15??
In new syllabus acca stated this
Table 1 – Additions to P2 INT There have not been any additions to the study guide for the exam year commencing 1 September 2015. However there have been minor amendments to the wording of some of the study guide outcomes mainly corresponding to changes within examinable documents.
can u please give some clarification
Check, on this site, the P2 page “Examinable documents” and you’ll find both the IAS 18 AND IFRS 15 are on that list
I find it difficult to believe that your examiner will ask a question requiring IAS 18 application when he has the opportunity to ask IFRS 15
At this early date, I’m going to suggest that IFRS 15 has a very strong chance of being asked in September
