after i log in, my url change to https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_AFFILIATE , n i can apply for membership, does it mean anythings?

I can log in to this link however I don’t see affiliate, in the source code or web address bar. But in saying that when I logged in to that link last week I got an error but now I can log in, so fingers crossed anyway.

Guys have you tried below theory,for me the password change gives an error

1. click this link “https://www.acca-business.org/pls/ecommerce/elopl001.p_login”
2. click forget “Forgotten your passcode?” get new passcode on your given email, then login.
3. you can see sections on left side of page

Change password
Contact ACCA

Click on “change password” (by the way you can change password to your desired number if you want to, its optional)
4.now your on Change your passcode page, right click anywhere and click on “view page source”
5.now page source is opened, press Ctrl and F, type member

you will see <INPUT TYPE=”HIDDEN” NAME=”p_membertype” VALUE=”S”>

according to theory, it changes from S to M.

mine does not change to affiliate.. still says student at the end !

Not sure anymore with the source page after login into ebusiness,it looks like the change password is most accurate

naz you can try to change AAA, my friends have several fails of APM and changed to AAA, passed at first time.

AAA is a demanding paper. It requires you to behave like an auditor and stick to the scenario. It also needs knowledge and study technical articles. The exam technique is also important on how to earn marks. My first attempt in june I got 49% (most probably I didn’t practice and time pressure) . Now as far as sitting it in December it’s up to you how willing are you to learn the ifrs and ias from f7 and p2 and also study past papers, exam technique (SOS the most important) and technical articles (the most recent). Also if you did f8 and passed it relatively easy it’s a good sign. It’s the same situation when somebody was GOOD in f6 tax and decide to do p6 advanced tax.
