September 2016 Exam results – Countdown

I sat for the P1, P2 & P3 papers. Did ok in P2. But not so sure about P1 & P3. And nerveously waiting for the results.

I’m waiting for P6. Last one. Only one week left to wait now. Will have to keep myself busy this week to take my mind off it 🙂

Wrote P5 like frag said I need all the luck I can get. Won’t be opening that email when it comes in.

Awaiting P7 results anxiously

After seeing the changes which will take effect in 2 years time, I declare a pass in P5 in the name of Jesus! My journey will end next year by the grace of God.

Attempt p1,p3.Dont think i should be passed because attempted about 80% in both.

Does anyone else see a box in MyAcca just below the Exam results section called Results Correspondence and Supporting information for exam results?

I don’t remember having seen that before and am wondering what it can be? Are they going to tell me that my scripts have not been marked because I used a gel pen?!

I have the same message and never used a gel pen so don’t stress over that ha.

I am nervously waiting for P3. What did you think of P3? First paper I have not been able to finish fully since starting ACCA.

I found P3 extremely time pressured and didn’t manage to answer 2 minor requirements in Q2 and Q3. I hate wordy papers… hope I scrapped a pass on this one as I am pretty sure I failed P2. All the best to you.

I never managed to do Q3b but never had a clue what it was about anyways so not to worry. Hoping that the other 91% of the exam I did write about is enough to get me a pass.

When I do past questions, sometimes I write them out in full to get practise on answering them under exam conditions. Other times I just make rough notes on the answers I would write then check them against the tutors answers so I can get through more past questions in my revision. I don’t find it helpful to go straight to the tutor’s answer without thinking about how I would do it first as when I see the mistakes I’ve made the answers seem to stick in my head better for next time. Specifically for P6, I made notes for the written questions but fully wrote out any computations.

I totally understand your pain. I have passed all papers first time. Only this one is my 3rd attempt. Barring in mind, I have passed P papers on first attempt as well. Only 1 P paper left.
