In this question, Betta is the limiting factor and is given as $1.50 per gram which is used to make cake The value of cake is then given $0.75. Now i don’t understand how gm/unit of Betta is calculated.
Ans: it is given as 0.5gm

The cost of Betta is $1.50 per gram.

The cost of the Betta used in one cake is $0.75 per cake.

Therefore each cake must use 0.75/1.50 = 0.5 grams of Betta,

    ( 0.5 gms x $1.50 per gm = $0.75 per unit )

They have to produce 5,000 Shakes, they produce 9,800 Cookies (because this is the most they can sell).
That means they have used in total 6,960 grams.

There are only 12,000 grams available, so there are 5,040 grams left. This is enough to be able to produce 10,080 Cakes.
