hello prof moffat
i have a question for the question #55 on BPP revision kit pg 46.
in question b)/1 we are asked to calculate the selling price of the bike, but why would we directly use the cost of the 2nd bike added by a margin ? shouldn’t we use the total cost of the first two and then come up with an average price., otherwise it seems not comply with the reality and illogical. thank you if you could help me out!
I do not have the BPP question.
However I am guessing that it is a past exam question that I do remember. Whether it seems logical or not, the question specifically says that we will base it on the cost of making the second bike.
(In fact, I do not think it would be logical or reality to charge based on the average price. However you are not asked whether or not it is logical – you are just expected to follow the instructions 🙂 )
Thank you Prof Moffat 🙂 !
You are welcome 🙂
