    Hi Everyone,
I wish to begin studying the ACCA qualification. I’ve had a look at the syllabuses for f1-3 and cannot see anything which will be too tricky, particularly if I get a Kaplan or BPP textbook. However I would appreciate advice on where to sit the exams once I have studied for them. I am currently based in London. Also how much does it cost to sit the exams themselves at these places? Ideally I’d like to sit them wherever they are cheapest.
    Thanks in advance.

Hi and congratulations with your choice of ACCA 🙂

If you are a registered student by now, then you should have received a welcoming package and several e-mails from ACCA, including those with login and password to your “MyACCA” page.

MyACCA is your personal acca portal, which u can access here :
    https://portal.accaglobal.com/

That is the place where you can register for exams, submit your PER and PO’s, access your exam results etc.

Try to login there and see : exam entry or entering exams.
During that exam entry process you will be able to choose any exam centre in London or any other country, where u are going to sit it, form the list.

Further on, you will see fees for each exam and then you will just need to enter your card details and submit your exam entry.

Well, you can also find lots of information at accaglobal website. I recommend u to benefit from it as much as u can :
    www2.accaglobal.com . choose : students > acca qualification . .. etc.

Fees are the same worldwide, you can view that info here:

    https://www2.accaglobal.com/students/exams/entries

Just a month ago ACCA implemented new system of exam entry, which includes : early , standard and late registration fee. Well , an obvious advice is to register early and pay less 🙂 though it’s just several gbp difference.

One more thing that you should be aware about is that you can sit knowledge module exams (f1-f3) , either as Paper based format (PBE) or computer – based format (CBE).
IF you choose to sit PBE, then you will have to sit them either in June or December following the standard exam timetables.

If u sit CBE’s then you can register and sit them at any time during the year.
Me perosnally i sat PBE, so i’m not sure whether exam centres will be different for CBE’s but somehow i tend to believe that they are.

Well, u will need to choose CBE’s during your exam entry in myACCA and you will see all the information yourself.

    good luck!
