maam how does self interest threat arise when client staff joins audit firm?
It must have been in the individual’s own interest to make the move from the client to the firm – which might compromise their objectivity e.g. to impress their new employer (the audit firm) they might be biased (not necessarily consciously) in evaluating audit evidence.
