Everyone doing PER has the same issues, but ultimately it’s the view of the person signing off the PER and their interpretation of what is needed that matters.
If you’ve specific questions people will try and help here, but I found the best strategy was to have a meeting with my senior manager, talk through which optional objectives I thought I had met and could document, then go ahead and do it. Whether you update online or share a pre-submission of your thoughts in an additional meeting is up to you.
