Hello Mr.Moffat!
I wanted to know what’s the syllabus for section C questions this time?
Is it still applicable that questions will be related to only Decision making(Syllabus part B),Budgeting and Control(Part C) and Performance measurement(Part D) only?
Is there any chance of questions from Specialist cost accounting techniques(Part A of the F5 syllabus)?
Thanks.Full questions on part A are unlikely in section C, but they could certainly be needed as part of a Section C question.
It is perfectly possible for the examiner to expect you to be able to calculate the unit cost of a product first in a question, and then to expect you to apply a decision making technique using that cost. You are expected to have studied the whole syllabus.
