How often we are asked Balance Scorecard and Building Block Model questions in the exam in Section C?
What steps do we need to follow in order to answer these questions?
I have seen ur lectures on those topics but they were brief. Please help me tackle these questions!
Questions on performance measurement are often asked in Section C, but they do not often refer to either the Balance Scorecard or Fitzgerald and Moon (mention of them is more likely in Section A).
There are no specific steps to follow. It is a question of interpreting the question and deciding what performance measures are appropriate for the business in question and commenting on the performance.
You should have a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers in which case you will have many performance measurement questions to practice on and to learn from the answers as to the approach required. In addition there are several lectures working through past exam questions in the Revision Kit Live link from the main Paper PM page on our website.
