hi guys, so i know in section c there’s an excel sheet to be use
however, i’m not sure how to use it properly
    1. do we have to use formulas or can we input the figures manually ?
    2. how do you get symbols such as the pound sign?
any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hey
The excel sheet in the exam will function almost exactly like excel does normally, you can use formulas the sheet will be blank so you can do anything you wish / see fit, just make sure to show your workings
all usual symbols etc are available
on acca website there are practice exams and you can try out an excel based question

I found that the excel functionality is very basic on exams so not all formulas work and I could not click on cells to add them to formula – I literally had to type the cell value i.e. B2 rather than just click on the cell. It could be a glitch but this is how I have experienced my TX exam … it was awful and I ended up using my calculator more to check figures
