    Morning John

When looking at the answers for Section C Discursive questions in the exam kit, what would you concentrate on? In the exam, we wouldn’t be expected to produce answers like the model solution would we?

The examiners answers are always monger and more detailed than what is expected from students.

There are two reasons for this. One is that the examiner knows that students learn from his answers and so makes them as full as possible. The second is that when a question requires (for example) three points, there are often many more points that could be made in which case any three of the points would get the marks.

Best is to look at the marking schemes at the end of each set of exam answers and you can see from there how many points were required.

Thank you John. So you wouldn’t look at them and think to replicate the answer in the exam, more use it to learn from
