Am considering which one to undertake and chose UK as it was the only option available through Kaplan, then was disappointed to see that Open tuition only offer the Int version. Previously i have supplemented Kaplan with Opentuiton but sounds like i’ll have to pick one?

Is there a uk section i’m missing?

    How different are they?

    Hi Callum,

Kaplan do actually support both variants – there is a chapter in their textbook specifically for the UK version, which you can ignore if you are doing the INT version.

Essentially the 2 exams are 90% the same. You still have to know IFRS very well for both. It’s just that for the UK version, you also need to be able to explain the main differences between UK GAAP and IFRS. In the exam nearly all the question parts will be the same, you’ll just have 1 or 2 question parts which are different.
